Studio Assistant
Stuart Pearson Wright, Suffolk

Part-time
Salary: £15 per hour
Hours: Average of 30 per month (average of one day a week) but flexible depending on workloads

Part-time studio assistant required. Largely administrative, the post requires someone with great organisational skills who is tech-savvy and able to multitask.

An engagement with the contemporary art world would be enormously beneficial.

This would suit someone with a wide skillset, who is able to multitask. Tasks include invoicing, some bookkeeping, internet research, problem-solving, IT updates, studio organisation (happy to climb ladders), social media updates, fixing and making, website updates, fulfilling orders, liaising with collectors and galleries, compiling and sending e-newsletters, writing content for numerous platforms, proofreading, placing online orders, working out computer problems and packing artworks for transport. Other tasks include organising insurance policies and liaising with accountants.

The post may sometimes require some help with moving things around in the studio and assisting with simple construction projects.

The studio is in rural Suffolk, close to Bungay so applicants will need to have their own transport and will be responsible for paying tax and National Insurance on their income.

Please send a covering email, brief biography and CV to studio@stuartpearsonwright.com with the subject field: Studio Assistant.

Closes: Monday 18th December 2023, 5pm.
