Portraits of D-Day Veterans

Stuart's painting Jack Griffiths is currently on display at Portsmouth Museum as part of the exhibition Portraits of D-Day Veterans - on until 1 September 2019.

This exhibition, from the Royal Collection, features twelve portraits commissioned by HRH The Prince of Wales to pay tribute to some of the remarkable men who played a role in the Allied invasion of Normandy on 6 June 1944.

Artists featured in the exhibition include: Paul Benney, Clara Drummond, Catherine Goodman, Eileen Hogan, Peter Kuhfeld, James Lloyd, Ishbel Myerscough, Carl Randall, Antony Williams, Stuart Pearson Wright, Jonathan Yeo and, Martin Yeoman. All are previous students from the Royal Drawing School, one of the Prince's charities.

Also on display is work by portrait artist Karl Rudziak, Veteran portrait photographs by contemporary photographer Stuart Wood, and objects & archive material from the museum's permanent collection.
